Collection Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream Review

I don't think I've seen anyone rave much about these collection Lip Puffs before, so I'm getting in there first. I have two shades which are Cotton Candy and Powder puff 2, theres one or two other shades one which is a coral colour and then the other is a very dark nude but everytime I go into boots theres only 3 available, I really need to get my hands on the coral colour though, I wish they would bring out more shades as 3/4 isn't enough. What I love about these are that they are matte but at the same time moisturising. The scent is amazing, I'm not a fan of scented makeup but I love the smell of these, they smell of a vanilla cake which doesn't bother me in the slightest as the smell goes once applied but obviously the smell isn't for everybody. The only thing is they aren't long lasting which is expected from the price but I can get a good 2-3 hours wear before fading from my lips.

Cotton candy 1 - is a blue toned pink, this is my favourite one out of the two, its super pigmented and I can't get enough of how gorgeous the colour is, this has been my everyday wear and I've worn it ever since I got it which was a couple of months ago, its a lovely dark pink berry ( I'm awful at describing haha) its similar to the Revlon colour burst in the shade elusive which is featured in my march favourites. So yes I Love Love Love it.

Powder Puff 2 - I'm quite disappointed in this one, I just don't think this nude suits me one bit, It may suit other people but for me its too light and washes me out so I like to mix it with another nude, its also not as pigmented ( in the picture I had to really swipe so you could see the colour) it also clings to dry patches on my lips which is odd as the other one doesn't. I think this would be better for people with a natural paler lip colour.

These are available at boots for £2.99
Let me know if you've ever tried these out before and what do you think of them?

  2. Cotton candy is one of my favourite lip products, I'm surprised as well that no one else has reviewed these they are so good for the price. I've been put off to buy the nude shade because it seems so unnecessarily light, it's a shame you have to mix it. Lovely post x

  4. I have the powder puff one and love it, i do love to wear bronzer and a pinkish blusher which i think stops me from looking washed out with this shade x

  6. I've so many great things about these lip products but was kinda disappointed that they only have 4 shades. I will still probably pick one up though when I see them in store. Cotton Candy looks like a gorgeous summer shade x
