The Body Shop & Superdrug Haul

Who loves a haul? I sure do. I was online shopping a couple of days ago, I hardly ever shop in Superdrug I have no idea why, I normally get all my makeup in Boots. I saw someones blog post about Tanya Burrs lip glosses and Eyelashes and the lady kinda persuaded me to give them a try (her pictures made them look even better) Im not really the type of person to go and buy what Youtubers have bought out, but as its makeup I thought why not give it a go? I love eyelashes anyway and they looked pretty, so I went for Date night and the Individual Lashes. Everyone has been saying how pigmented her lip glosses are and how they smell of sweets so I picked up the shade 'chic' which is a pretty nude shade, I can't wait to see what all the fuss is about, maybe ill end up loving them?! As I had a few things in my cart already I thought I should try an eyeshadow again, as a couple of years ago every time I put eyeshadow onto my eyelids they would irritate my eyes and it would feel uncomfortable, so since then I've never put anything on my eyelids, but I thought why not try again as that was ages ago, So I picked the Bourjois Colour Edition 24H in the shade Petale De Glace 3, fingers crossed my eyes are ok when I apply this, its such a pretty shade.

I only picked up two products from The Body shop, Aloe Soothing Day Cream which I always end up going back to as its my favourite moisturiser ever, and then I picked up the SeaWeed Ionic Clay Mask, this has always been out of stock, every time I look for it either online or in the shop its never there argh!! I love clay masks as they help my combination skin, and sorts out all my open pores, YUCK.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul, let me know if you have tried any of these products! :)

GlossyBox // December edition

GlossyBox know how to make their boxes look pretty with every theme they do, as you have probably guessed we are in december which means its christmasssss, how cute is that white red and green packaging? I must admit I am a bit disappointed in this months box, I wish their was more exciting things to try, to me this just seems like a normal standard box, BUT I will be trying them all out and there are things in there I wouldn't actually buy, so I may really like them, thats what I love about these subscription boxes. Lets go ahead and see whats inside...
I love Tresemme hair products Ive only tried a few of their products but thats enough to make me like them, this is the Renewal Hair & Sculp Nourish & Renew Tonic, it contains tee tree extract and sunflower seed oil that will instantly help to nourish your scalp and renew your hair. Once you have shampooed and conditioned your hair, apply a small amount directly onto the scalp targeting on the roots and do not rinse. This sounds quite interesting ill definitely be giving this ago, even though I have no problems with my scalp (Just saying) Im up for anything that will condition my hair nicely.
Funily enough I've never tried a serum before, this is the SkinPep Hydra Boost - Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum. This contains the clinically proven cell, communicating ingredient, hyaluronic acid, in a perfume free, alcohol free, hypo allergenic formulation that will provide a healthy new skin glow. You can apply this day or night onto cleansed face, god knows if this will do my wonders to my skin but I'm sure it will help in these colder months.
This colour is gorgeous, they definitely new to put a christmasy colour in their, this is the All that Jazz Nail Lacquer, I think this is in the shade Androullas black cherry on top. Ive already tested it and I love it, its that perfect redy/berry glittery colour.
Next is this Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip stain, this lovely coral colour is going to be lovely for the summer.
The last product is this Antomicals Zap!Zap!Zap! Gets that chap. Day and Night Spot Stick, in my last LoveMeBeauty box I got the antomicals face mask, and I loved them, so I wonder if this stick will be like similar to the masks, This isn't an exciting product as I don't actually get spots so I wont need to use this that much but its nice to have something on the side if I get the odd horrible one.

So theres the GlossyBox christmas edition, I am pleased with this months box, their isn't nothing I hate but I wish their was more outstanding products, but having 4 full sized products and 1 travel sized product is pretty amazing for £10 a month.

November Favourites

Where the hell did November go? It flew by, I know this is a little late but hey ho! I haven't been loving much products lately, so these four are the only ones that stood out for me in the past month.

Lets start off with these two Real Techniques brushes from the Limited Edition, ones a cheek Brush but I don't actually use it for blush, I'm loving to for contouring and bronzing, It makes me contouring much easier to apply as it fits right into my cheek bones, I love a brush that you can use for all different things. Next is the Duo-Fibre Face brush, I'm loving this for foundation, powder and also for bronzer now and then if I want a natural look, It makes my skin look lovely and flawless, its quite hard to use it for foundation but at the end my skin looks lovely. I can't remember the exact price, its roughly around £30 I think for the whole kit you get 3 other small brushes also.

I'm also loving this So Susan blush, the colour is gorgeous for this time of year, You literally tap your brush in once and its that pigmented you only need a tiny tiny bit, I love that its got abit of shimmer in it so its a 2 in 1 product, and you don't really need a highlighter as it gives such a soft glow already.

The last make up product is this Absolute bronzing boost, I never thought I would get much use out of this, but I'm currently using the Bourjois healthy mix foundation and its a tad light for me but I love wearing it so I mix this bronzing boost with my foundation and it just makes it a little bit darker so it matches me, its great. Ill also use this under my foundation as a base for bronzer then over the top ill add a powdered bronzer to make it last longer.

Let me know what products you have enjoyed using in November!

The Christmas Tag

How cute is that little kitten :D As christmas is 3 weeks away, I also don't get how christmas has come this quick I feel like I've just had last years christmas and I've blinked and come straight to this years christmas haha, I picked the best questions from all over the place, so feel free to go ahead and do this tag yourself, I tag all of you!

1.When do you start getting excited about christmas?
Im pretty excited now if I'm honest EEEK, but when its the week before christmas Ill be extremely excited, I love the build up before christmas, it doesn't even seem real that its only 3 weeks away, HOLY MOLY!

2.Do you still have an Advent Calendar?
OH YES, who doesn't? Im 24 and I still have one every year, your never too old for one, Ive got the classic dairy milk.

3.What is your Favourite christmas films?
Oh gosh I love christmas films, theres too many out there, but the ones I absolutely love and will never get old of is 'The Grinch, Home Alone ( Merry christmas ya filthy animal), oh and I can't forget Elf :D they put me in the christmas mood.

4.Favourite festive Food?
Obviously you can beat a christmas dinner with turkey, ham, pigs in blankets gravy, roast potatoes ect.... BUT I do love having a turkey sandwich with fluffy bread mmmmmm. Lets just say I love all the food :D

5.Talk us through your typical christmas day
Ill wake up and then unwrap my stocking it used to be a big stocking but now I'm older its only a few little things, we will then have breakfast, shower and get ready before everyone comes over for around 1pm, whilst dinners cooking we just sit down and chat and have a few drinks, we then have dinner around 3ish and we normally sit at the table for ages as you then have pudding ect, when everyones full we make our way into the front room to watch abit of telly as we are so stuffed, then when it gets around 8ish we start to play games as we are all abit merry then, so it makes the games more interesting haha :p we will literally play games till we have had enough, we just drink and eat till we explode, oh cannot forget the after eights!!!

6.What do you eat for christmas dinner
We have turkey and Gammon, then every single vegetable lol, roast potatoes, gravy, pigs in Blankets which are my favourite, parsnips. I can't think of anything else...

7.Do you have any christmas traditions
Nope none at all.

8.What are your favourite christmas songs
The Pogues - FairyTale of NewYork
Slade - merry Christmas Everyone
Mariah Caey - All I want for christmas is you
Wizzard - I wish it could be christmas everyday
The list goes on...

9.What is the best christmas present you ever received
I remember when I was younger I got my first barbie bike haha, I absolutely loved it.

10.Real or fake christmas tree
We used to always get a real christmas tree but the last 2 years my parents went and bought a fake one, But I would get a real christmas tree, the smell of the tree when you walk into your house everyday is heavenly, but the pain of it is when it starts to drop and you have to hoover up all the time haha.

GlossyBox // November Edition

If you read my LoveMeBeauty November Edition you'll know I got bored of it and cancelled, Im now signed up to GlossyBox woo! Its the same as most subsription boxes where you can sign up for £10 a month plus p&p and receive a box every month with makeup, skincare or haircare products. With GlossyBox you have no idea what your receiving which I guess is quite fun with no knowing what your going to get, unless you have a cheeky look on their website and you can see a thing or two of what you may get, Im excited to share with you what I received this month, and lets just say I'm pretty impressed :D Lets go ahead and see what I received.
First of is this Best Secret gift card and they have given me £20 to spend and I've got a personal code on the back which I can use. I've had a look on their website and you have to log in but I don't have an account so I need to take a proper look at it.
I was super happy when I saw this Renewing Argan oil Of Morocco Conditioner, who doesn't love using Argan oil on their hair? I certainly do, It makes my hair feel so soft! Its a cute little travel sized product for going away with too so thats handy.
How tiny is this product? Could it be any smaller lol, This is the H20 Hydrating Treatment oil free moisture gel, all you do is when you've finished cleansing massage gently onto damp face, you can also leave this in the fridge for 1-2 hours then apply it like a cooling mask and leave it on for 5 minutes. This is perfect for dry skin, Ill be interested to see how this works with my skin.
This is the Monu Soothing Hawaii Facial Oil, Im loving these skincare products I'm receiving at the moment, All you do is after cleaning and toning apply a small amount to the skin and massage in, It can be applied in the morning or evening or as an intensive treatment or night cream. It contains Cardamom, Sandalwood, and Lavender to help comfort and restore healthy skin, I can say I'm truly excited to use this.
Next is this Lollipops Eye pencil, this is quite a funky looking eye pencil, I'm loving the design on it, I'm not really an eyeliner person, But I might try and use it as the pencil looks quite easy to use and to apply. I applied it onto my hand to swatch and its very pigmented.
The finally product is this Burts Bees 100% natural lipgloss in the shade Whisper, This looks like something I used to have when I was 12 lol, Ive actually already used this, as I wanted to test it out and it actually isn't that bad, Im more of a lipstick kinda girl, but the colour was really pretty and its quite clear with a hint of pink, It didn't feel that sticky as I know some can be, I also hate the fact that my hair keeps getting stuck to the lipgloss eww.

Overall Im happy with this months glossy box, ill be sticking with them for a while and I can't wait to see what ill get for the december christmas edition, I got a gift card with 3 travel sized products and two full size products which were the lipgloss and eyeliner. You can't go wrong for £10 for all of that. Whats even better is that ill be using every single one :)

LilLash Review

There was a company on twitter called LilLash.com that was wanting some bloggers to review a few of there brow and lash products, I said I was interested, then this lovely lady called paige emailed me telling me about what lil lash is about. Ive never used anything like this before so I was super excited to test these two products out. It came wrapped up all nicely in a cardboard box so the packaging wouldn't get ruined, I love that came in a little purple bow and black and silver packaging, Im sold for cute pretty packaging anyways. Its super handy it came with a mirror, ill be putting that straight in my handbag.

LilLash is a brand where they sell an EyeLash Serum which is perfect for you ladies out there who have short thin lashes just like me, Its a 3 months cycle for you to see the full results, so I'm going to put it somewhere where I will remember to do it everyday, the applicator is very simple you just apply it just over your top lashes but not directly on them. Next is the LilBrow Serum, I've never tried a serum for my eyebrows, I actually have over tweezed my eyebrows a little bit so I have a few gaps and I'm always filling it in with an eyebrow pencil, so I'm hoping this will do the trick and thicken them up and make them look more enhanced, my eyebrows are just a mess, this is also a 3month cycle.

I will be back with another post in 3 months time to give everyone the results on how my eyelashes and eyebrows look, there will be a before and after picture, I'm super excited and fingers crossed there will be an improvement.

Theres also an amazing offer on Lilbrow, from the 28th November - 1st December they are doing a 25% off every product and you get a free gift when you purchase so don't miss out.

If you click HERE this will take you straight to their site :) I hope you enjoyed this post as I don't see any of these kind of posts going around in the blogging world.

Love Me Beauty // November Edition

Here we are again with another Love Me Beauty Post, I'm not going to go in depth with what this is but if you read my blog you'll see me do these posts every month. These 3 products I picked were worth 2 credits each and that adds up to 6 credits so all my credits were gone. This is actually going to be my last Love Me Beauty box as Ive stopped my subscription, I was getting bored with the products they were letting me pick. I'm now subscribed to Glossybox which I'm super excited about as I received my first box this week and I'm loving it already, another post with be up about that soon, anyways lets go ahead and see what I picked.
First off is this EcoTools Face & Body Sculpting brush, Ive seen these brushes everywhere in boots and Superdrug, but I've never actually picked up any of their brushes, they look like really good quality brushes and its really soft too which for some reason I thought they would be abit hard. It says this is a multi - functional brush so it can be used to powder or bronzer and contour, I'm not sure ill use it to contour as it seems abit too big for that lol, I'm not really sure what I will use this for so ill have to play around with it.

I'm actually super excited about this one, these are anatomicals face masks, the green packet is for black and white heads, Botanical purifying Tea Tree Face Mask, The pink packet is a Botanical Hydrating Rose Face mask. If you read my blog you'll know I love a good face mask, who doesn't really? As you can see in the picture on the bottom right, thats what you put over your face, so it isn't like a liquid or a thick paste, Its a cloth facial mask, and you press lightly with you fingertips to set the mask in place and you relax for 20minutes, then you just peel it off and you can massage the remaining fluid into your skin.
I'm not a fan of eye creams, I'm just always forgetting to apply one, I should be using on everyday as my concealer always creases, I can always see the difference to when I use one and when I don't use one. This is the Oriflame Optimals Seeing Is Believing Eye Cream, Ive been currently using a mini Benefit eye potent and that's nearly all gone, so I thought I better get a new one, Its in a super cute pot also, so that might make me use it more haha.

So thats what I picked in this months box, Its an ok box but as I said I'm just getting bored of the products they let me pick. Also Let me know what you use that EcoTools brush for!

How to PREVENT Dry cracked Lips

Raise your hands if you suffer from dry cracked lips in the winter? I suffer from dry lips but my boyfriend gets quite bad cracked lips and its horrible. There are a few ways to prevent getting dry lips, which some people may not know, so I thought id write down a few things to help at lease once person out there, Here it goes....

1. Use a lip Balm such as a chapstick to promote healing and prevention of chapped lips.

2.  Another view point, as the reason for  ''chapstick addiction'' is this - Lip balms like chapsticks lubricate but they do not hydrate. This is a critical difference as people apply chapsticks constantly to dehydrated lips because it makes them feel soft and smooth, which they take to mean moisturised. But lip balms do not hydrate. It actually seals moisture out so that lips cannot absorb moisture from the air, the water we drink or from hydrating formulas applied to lips. We wax a car and it feels shiny and smooth but what does the wax do? it seals out water rolls of like a ducks back, better bet is to use a product like products with Shea, emu butter, vitamin E Oil, which are designed to introduce moisture back into the lips.

3. Ensure your body is not deficient in B Vitamins, iron or essential fatty acids. These deficiencies can cause scaling lips and cracking of lip corners.

4. The main one of course is to drink loads of water, which of course if you don't drink enough it causes dehydration on the lips.

5. If in spite of water intake your lips seem dehydrated, apply a cool wet cloth to hydrate your lips.

6. Dont lick your lips it will cause more chapping, it doesn't moisturise them, I'm sure we are all guilty of this.

7. Do not try to pick or bite your lips, biting the lip removes their protective covering which causes further drying.

8. Use a soft toothbrush so softly buff your lips to remove the deposit of dead cells that will cause more drying and flaking.

9. Creamy lipsticks can act like balms to prevent your lips from chapping, Try and avoid lipsticks that can dry out your lips.

10. Vaseline works wonders.

October Favourites

I think its about time I sat down and did my first ever monthly favourites, that's right I've never done one before, god knows why as I see plenty of them around.

First off is the Clarins Daily Energizer Cleansing gel, I only re-discovered this last month, I got this with a gift box set for Christmas last year, I got a moisturiser which I didn't like and a few little extra pieces and this was one of them, I forgot how much I love this stuff, Ive been using this every morning in the shower, you only need a pee size amount, you lather it up in your hands, apply to the face then rinse, and my face feels super clean, oh and you can't forget how soft it leaves your face too. I used to take this on holiday as its handy being a travel sized product.

Next is a pretty impressive foundation, Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hour with comfort serum, I only picked this up last month and I've been using this pretty much most days and while I going to work, this is my first time using a Rimmel foundation and its amazing, if you love medium to full coverage like me, then you will love this, if you have dry skin I don't think this will be ideal for you, it dries quite quickly and turns very matte, but maybe I'm wrong and you could find nothing wrong with it, I'm combination so I have no problem and I think it turns away some of the oiliness on my face which is a bonus, and I'm not sure if its my primer but this seems to last forever on my skin, I can do a full 8 hours at work, go home and my foundation hasn't budged.

I'm not really a fan of body lotions, I think I'm just lazy having to apply it haha, I got this Korres BodyMilk in my Birchbox ages ago, I though oh great another lotion, so I just chucked it in my draws, now its getting colder outside, my skin gets a lot dryer mainly on my legs and body so that's when I have to moisturise now and then, a little goes a long way and spreads really far as its really liquidy, it smells amazing and definitely helps my skin.

You've got to love Barry M's nail polishes, there range is pretty amazing, Its she shade 273 Raspberry, I'm wearing this shade all the time now its winter, its that perfect shade, that goes with anything.

I don't see these Collection Cream Puffs being raved about enough, Ive got the shade cotton Candy 1, I've been wearing this everyday and I bloooomin LOVE it, I've even gone and brought the other two colours which is a nude and coral, they can be quite drying on the lips, but it doesn't bother me as its not noticeable, I'm actually thinking of doing a review on them soon :)

Hope you enjoyed my monthly favourites let me know what you've been loving this month

Exciting Lush Haul

I can't believe Ive never done a Lush haul before! I'm always buying things from there, maybe I just get too excited and use them straight away haha, I went into Lush last week and I haven't used any of my products so far so Ive done well, Ive been working all week and haven't had the chance to snap any photos so they've been sitting in my room :( But now I'm finally writing up a blog post and sharing with you what I brought and tonight I'm definitely going to have a bath with one of these bath bombs YAAY.

Lets start off with the two conditioners I brought there was a lovely lady telling me all sorts of information about lush and what I would need for my hair, she said so much stuff I could of taken the whole of the lush store haha. The first conditioner I picked up was the Retread Hair Conditioner, so you can use this every time you wash your hair, its very good for dry coloured hair. Next I picked up was the Jasmine and Henna fluff-Ease Hair Treatment, all you do is apply on dry hair and you take the WHOLE LOT and cover your hair in this conditioner, and leave it on for 20mintues before shampooing and conditioning as normal, I was shocked to about having to use the whole product on your hair, I thought you only use a good amount on the ends for 10 minutes, but no you use the whole product, and this literally nourishes, softens, de-frizzes your hair, and brings your hair back to life and looking much more healthier, which is what I need, so cannot wait to give it ago. I must admit there is so much there you definitely need someone to tell you which is best for your hair I got so baffled.
Now on to the exciting bath bombs, who doesn't love bath bombs? If you've never tried nothing from Lush you've definitely been living under a massive rock haha. There was so many I couldn't choose but I went for two that I haven't seen or used before, The first one is 'Dashing Santa' it smells amazing, looks amazing, and the colours are pretty, I haven't seen this before so it catched my eye and its getting close to christmas so why not pick up a Santa? Next is the classic Northern Lights, this one I have seen and the women in the shop said these are selling out so fast, so I quickly picked one up, I think the colours are going to be pretty amazing once popped into the bath.

Hoped you liked this little lush haul, let me know what you have picked up from there recently :)

LoveMeBeauty / October Edition

The second edition for the newly revamped LoveMeBeauty, Its a new service where you receive 6 Credits and then you can pick any products you like or would like to try, some products are 1 credit and some products are 2 credits, so the full size/expensive are 2 credits, and the travel sized products are more likely 1 credit. This was an exciting month for me as I was getting 8 credits as they mixed up my order last month, and they didn't have some of the products I picked. I placed an order and a week later, they told me they had run out of some things (stupid I know) so as an apology I got 8 woo! Lets see what I picked below...
Montagne Jeunesse Hot Spring Sauna Exfoliating & Nutritiously Rich Warming Masque
I suppose you've all seen these masks in boots/superdrug, there so cheap Im sure they are only £1 but I could be wrong, I only had 1 credit left so I saw this and thought why not get a mask, it looks pretty funky and fun to use.
Murad Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask
Ive seen this brand in Marks & Spencer's loads of times, its quite an expensive brand id say,  this little sachet is a good tester size, looking forward to giving my skin a good scrub with this.
Welda Massage Oil
I didn't pick this at all, so they must of just given it to me for free, I can safely say i wont be using this lol.
Percy & Reed Dry Conditioner
I'm most excited about this one so I had to use my 2 credits for this, Ive seen this brand everywhere in the LoveMeBeauty Boxes, I loveeee the packaging, it's so cute and vintage, this will be good for when my hair needs abit of moisture and shine back into it
Oriflame SkincDream BB Cream 5 in 1 Beauty Balm
I love wearing BB creams, so I new I should definitely give this a try, It promises to cover imperfections, all day hydration, give an instant glow, oil - free and has SPF 30.

Marlin & Goetz Cleanser and Shampoo
To be honest I don't really know why I picked these two up, I don't need any more cleaners and shampoos, but I thought they would be handy for travelling in, although I'm quite keen on the Peppermint shampoo as its set for coloured hair (which I have)

I'm super happy with this months box, and ill definitely get some use out of every single one (apart from the massage oil haha)  I really recommend signing up, its only £10 a month plus P&P. They have everything in their boutique, a selection from makeup, haircare and skincare.
