Kat Von D Liquid Lipsticks

I actually can't believe that I'm writing a blog post - Its been over 6 months since I last popped a post up but right now I have some motivation and what better way to start it off with Kat Von D. If any ones been living under a rock, Kat Von D launched in Debenhams about 2/3weeks ago - Amazing. They are an American brand and every single Beauty Blogger has been waiting for this day to finally happen - they launched in the UK.

When I went on the website I literally didn't know what to pick up, but Ive heard everyone rave about their Liquid Lipsticks along with the Foundation and Contour Palette. I thought id keep it save and just buy two things - I already want to buy more from her range. The two colours I went for - Lovesick and Bow & Arrow.  By the way can we just talk about the packaging? its so cool - love the rock tattoo vibe.

These two colours are my typically everyday colour, a nude and a dusky pink. Lovesick is a dusky pink with cool undertones, these mauve type pinks are my favourite to wear in the winter. Bow & Arrow which is a muted medium dark beige-brown, with neutral to warm undertones, this colour is my favourite as it goes with an makeup look, its very wearable. The texture of the lipsticks are creamy with a matte finish and dry very quick - they are very pigmented. The smell isn't too overpowering like Kylie Jenner's liquid lipsticks - they have a very subtle sweet smell.

The one thing I'm not a fan of is how long the applicator wand is - as you can see they are long and it doesn't make the application easy.

The liquid lipsticks costs £16 which are reasonable priced. I definitely want to pick up some more makeup of hers - Have you tried Kat Von D?

Makeup Revolution Birthday Haul

I know I'm super late with this post but I haven't had a chance to sit down and blog recently, BUT here I am with a haul. Makeup Revolution celebrated their 2nd Birthday party last month in London which I couldn't attend to sadly so they were very kind and sent me a bunch of goodies. I wasn't expecting anything until my mum said there was a parcel for me which made me excited, the parcel was huge. They definitely spoilt me rotten and I thought id share these amazing products with you.

First off there was a black bag inside which says ''I helped Revolution'' which I thought was a cute idea. They are really good to their bloggers who get a chance to work with them. Makeup Revolution also have a sister ''Freedom Makeup'' which they also put a few products in which excites me as I haven't tried their products before. Both brands are stocked in Superdrug.

Starting off with Makeup Revolution products, the first thing I noticed was there Antibacterial Brush Cleanser, I was just about to order my self one of these, I normally just stick to baby shampoo and warm water so I can't wait to give this a go. Moving on to the Rose Gold Packaging, I noticed one of there lipsticks in the shade ''Girls Best Friend'' which is this gorgeous pink shade. Along with the Rose Gold I also received there Ultra Metal Foundation Brush which I have used and its super soft on the skin and blends my foundation out really well.

As I said before I haven't tried anything from Freedom Makeup so I couldn't wait to start trying everything out. The one product that excites me the most is their Pro Studio Strobe Cream, my skin looked very healthy and glowy once applied and I new this was an exact Dupe from Mac's Strobe cream. The next thing I saw was this MASSIVE Pro Artist Pad Black Arts Eyeshadow Palette, the colours looked gorgeous and I'm spoilt for choice.

Last but not least are a few extra products Superdrug popped in. I haven't tried any of these products before so yet again I was even more excited. I love a good pair of fake Eyelashes for nights out, I received these Lash Eyelashes Volume/21, I think these will look really nice on. Next is the Solait Express Tan in Medium/Dark, I love a good tan so definitely couldn't wait to give this a go, its a gradual tan so the longer you leave it the darker it will be. There was a few other products such as some Makeup wipes from B.Pure Micellar, Dragon Fruit and Vanilla Shower Cream which smells amazing and some Honey Blonde Hair Toner.

So that's everything I received from Makeup Revolution, there goodie bag was amazing and spoilt me with such great products. Do you like Makeup Revolution and did you attend there party?

NEW NUDESTIX // INTENSE MATTE LIP & CHEEK PENCILS

Nudestix has come out yet again with even more amazing lip and cheek pencils. Nudestix is based in Toronto and they have worked with loads of Makeup Artists and Photographers, Its a simple collection of easy-to-use makeup crayons that cover all bases to give you a fresh natural face. I know Nars have bought out some Velvet Matte lip pencils but Nudestix has taken over. Although you can use these for the cheeks too, I prefer to just use them on the lips.

These non-drying cruelty free lipsticks come in 8 shades, 5 nudes and 3 reds. I received Royal and Belle. Belle is the perfect day time nude, it gives you a subtle pinky nude look and looks natural, you could get away with wearing it too work without looking super dressy. Royal which is this dark deep red which I am afraid to wear out as I don't wear these type of shades, its very sophisticated looking and very out there. Maybe one day in the winter I will be brave enough to wear it.

With these two lip pencils it also comes with a Blur pencil. Its an instant line, crease and pore blurring pencil that creates a smoother looking skin texture. For example if you have large pores the blur pencil will create a smoother looking finish. It also can be used as a lip primer, yes a lip primer, has anyone used one of these? You simply apply this before your lipstick to create a smooth flawless base, to extend the wear. All of their Crayons are very soft, non drying, The pigmentation is crazy and gives you a very smooth coverage. They last very long and are waterproof/smudge free and can last up to 6 hours on the lips. Each individual pencil comes in its own small black container with its own sharpener and a little leaflet given you  information about the product.

Nudesitx has definitely been my favourite so far and have yet again impressed me. You can pick them up from Cult Beauty, Space NK, Look Fantastic, Have you used these lip pencils before?

NEW Soap & Glory Makeup

Soap & Glory have to be one of my favourite Makeup brands out there, they just keep releasing  amazing products. I bought these three products a couple of weeks back so Ive been testing them out here and there but I'm still making my mind up about them. They are very affordable.

Soap & Glory One heck of a Blot Primer isn't new to everybody, most Beauty Bloggers have it and its very well known as everyone raves and loves it. I love a good primer or wise without one, my makeup just slides right off. This primer is aimed at those with oily skin, and it aims to control the shine and give a matte finish to the skin. I find this very hydrating and it has a nice silky feeling so when I apply my makeup it just glides on, You can go wrong with £10.

Next is my favourite NEW Glow all out Highlight & Sculpt Cheek stick in Ice Shimmer. This highlighter is perfect for a natural look with a hint of glow, its a gorgeous champagne colour that blends out very easily. I will either blend it out with my fingers or just a small blending brush. There are also two other Cheek sticks in this range, you have Love at first blush and Wonder Bronze. They only costs £8.

Next is this NEW Archery Brow Putty Dip Pot & brush. The Archery family welcomes the Brow putty. This brow product is completely different to what they have brought out before, it has a dual-ended stick with an angled brush on one end and a dipping pot of tinted putty om the other end. They have three colour ranges - Love is Blonde, Brownie Points and Dark Chocolate. I have Brownie points but I find it a tad too light. If your looking for something to fill your eyebrows in naturally this would be perfect for you, my eyebrows look very subtle, soft and natural and this brow product is great for that. I do find it hard to get product out of the pot so I have to keep dipping in and out a few times, Maybe if I went for Dark chocolate it would of given me a bit more intensity. This also costs £10.

Do you Like Soap and Glory? Have you tried any of these?

Makeup Revolution Ultra Cleanse Makeup Remover

Makeup Revolution have launched this new Facial cleansing water, I have combination skin but as the weather keeps changing and its got super cold my skins been quite dry lately.  Ive been looking for something to bring my skin back to life. I have quite a few cleansers but they haven't been helping my skin out at all.

Ive been using this cleanser before I do a proper cleanse, ill pop some on a cotton pad and simply wipe around my face to get most of the makeup off. If I have a face full of face makeup Ill try and remove as much  as I can before moving on to a different cleanser.  Makeup Revolution claims it is formulated to gentle remove all traces of makeup, impurities and surface grime. Do I think it does the job? yes! I don't think its as great as my Micellar waters but its great for the price (3.99). Whats amazing is that its alcohol and fragrance free, so it will be perfect for you sensitive girls out there.

This product is worth buying for around winter time, as a gentle product it is needed for when our skin becomes sensitive and dull. I've been loving it and I can't wait to carry on using it.

Have you tried any makeup revolution products?

NEW in my collection

Although some of these products might not seem new to you but these are pretty new to me, I don't think this needs much of a post but I'm going to go and ramble on about them anyways. Its nice to share with everyone what I've been buying as I love a good nose myself, I haven't bought make or skincare in forever apart from last month OOPS but other than that it was was before Christmas/summer.

I'm sure everyone is aware of the Loreal Infallible Foundation, I've seen this everywhere so I thought it was something I should try out as I don't own many high street foundations so I thought id give it a try, I also picked up the Loreal Paris Color Riche lipstick in ''Niomi's Delicate Rose'' which is a pretty coral nude shade, the colour will look gorgeous in the summer. Last of the makeup is the Max factor Creme Puff Blush in 10 Nude Mauve, this shade stood out to me the most as I'm not a fan of pinky blushes. I'm a fan of anything to try and get rid of my large pores and while I was browsing I saw this NEW 'Biore free your pores Charcoal Pore Minimiser' this sounds amazing and something I need, All you do is wet your face then lather up the product into your hands and massage onto the face, its like a cleanser/exfoliater. i can't wait to carry om using this to see if it makes a difference. I was also in need of a new detangle/Heat Defence spray and I saw this cute new white and pink packaging from Garnier which is a heat Protection milk spray, it has delicate oat rice cream and oat milk which sounds like my hair will be super soft. Last but not least is the NEW Tresemme Shampoo and Conditioner, they say when using Conditioner after your Shampoo it can weigh your hair down, so they have made a Pre-wash Conditioner which you use on your ends and leave on for 1-2 minutes you then follow with the shampoo and your then meant to have shiny bouncy volume hair.

I can't wait to review a few of these products and go bit more in-depth.  Let me know if you've seen or used any of these.

Im back & Massive beauty Haul

It feels so long since I haven't posted, life got a bit hectic with work so blogging took a back sit. It actually felt nice having a break but as I've had a few months away I was slowly starting to miss it again and what way to come back with a massive Beauty Haul. I haven't bought all of this makeup in one go its been a few bits here and there over the past few weeks, but I've been keen with wanting to show you all so here it is...

First off are these two Bobbi Brown Brushes and the Sephora Air Pro Brush (which my friend got for me while in America). I've wanted the Full Coverage and Powder Brush for so long but as everyone knows they are expensive so do I really want to spend so much on a brush and the answer is yes, yes I do. They are amazing and I'm lucky I purchased them I can't stop using them. My friend kindly got me the Sephora Brush and a Mini Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara in black but to me the Mascara is nothing special. I've seen the Air Pro brush being raved about a lot and I can see why its just an easy brush to use, Ive been using it for foundation and bronzer and its just amazing.

I then picked up this gorgeous Too faced melted lipstick in Melted Fig, the shade is so pretty,  I thought id made a change to nude. I then went for the Clarins Instant Concealer in 01, its quite a light concealer so I struggle to cover up my dark circles so I end up using another concealer on top, it really brightens up the area though. I then went for the Benefit Puff Off Eye Gel as I thought the ironing tip looked pretty cool and new it would help my puffy eyes, its got such a lovely cooling effect.
Last but not least is the Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque and Mac Cream Colour Base in Pearl. Apart from the brushes these two are my favourite purchases yet. I love using a Corrector for under my eyes as it brightens up the area and gets rid of my dark circles, it makes such a difference I can't live without it. I wasn't really needing a highlighter but the shade was just too pretty to not pick up, this is my favourite highlighter by far, it just adds the perfect glow and suits my skin tone really well.

I'm going to do more in depth posts on a few of these products. Have you tried any of these before?
