Makeup Revolution NEW Blushing Hearts

Well where do I even begin? These are the new Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts, I was so happy to be receiving these, I mean who wouldn't lol I've never tried anything from there range (shocking I know) so its even more exciting to test them out and see what all the fuss is about. They launched on the 22nd January, as you can see they look stunning and are all soooo pretty, and the packaging is too cute, theres one bronzer, 3 Blushers and 2 Highlighters. Each have 3 shades inside so you can swirl together to get the perfect flush. Ive been using a stippling brush as it doesn't pick up too much product to start off with, I love every single one of them, they are very pigmented, and you only need the tiniest bit on your brush. Ever since I received them, I've been testing one out at a time every day haha. It hard to pick a favourite but theres one that looks stunning on my cheeks. Lets go ahead and check out the blushing hearts, also my apologies for describing what they look like, I'm so bad at it.
This is the Summer of Love Triple Baked Bronzer - Hot Summer Of Love. what a cute name, this is going to be perfect for summer, I've never tried a shimmery bronzer before, as I tend to stick to the matte ones, but its so pretty. Theres a dark champagne, golden brown and a very deep dark brown. When I first applied I must of put too much on as it looked a bit orange but I blended and blended then it looked natural.
Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blusher - Bursting With Love, this is the darkest pink set out of the 3 blushers, the lightest colour is a very light lavender purple shade, the middles a baby pink, then the last one is the very bright pink, I mixed all the colours together and its such a lovely natural colour on the cheeks.
Triple Baked Blusher - Peachy Pink Kisses, Im really loving this one at the moment, I think it might be my favourite so far, its such a lovely peachy shade when you mix all 3 together, it blends in nicely with my bronzer, i just absolutely love it.
Triple Baked blusher - Iced Hearts, this is kind of like a blush and bronzer together, you have two types of pinks on the left, a very sheer pink then a baby pink, then the bronzy pinky shade on the right, this is lovely on the cheeks without bronzer, its great for days when you want a natural look but you still want a bit of colour there.
Triple baked Highlighter - Golden Goddess, I love golden highlighters so this shade is perfect for me. the light catches it so well on the cheeks it really stands out.

Triple Baked Highlighter - Goddess Of Faith, this is such a gorgeous highlighter also, its the perfect pinky champagne colour, it looks very flattering and would suit any skin tone.

I hope you enjoyed this little review on there new Blushing hearts, and its now making you want to buy them :D haha, I'm loving every one at the minute and definitely recommend them, they only retail at £4.99 HERE which is such a great price, for the amount you get.
What are your thoughts on the new blushing hearts range? What products do you like and recommend?

BornPrettyMakeup Lipstick review #1

BornPrettyMakeup is a company from china, this lady called alicia messaged me and said if I would like to review a few of there lipsticks, Im a massive fan of lipsticks so it made me interested straight away. I haven't really worked with hardly many companies so I thought why not give it another go.

When I first opened the packaging, I had my eye straight onto the Baby GaGa which is 01, I loved the black and gold packaging nice and simple but when I opened it up I was like WOAH that is one heck of a bright colour haha (they all are really), Its such a bright barbie which I know I wont be able to pull off and it wont suit my hair and skin colour at all. The other Two lip crayons are just a standard lip crayon, in a black and silver packaging, and you just twist up for more product, my favourite out of the 3 is the shade 05 I love these type of colours, the red/pinky colour I always wear these type of colours for going out, so ill definitely be using this colour a lot, the other lip crayon in the shade 03 is also a bright barbie pink but the other pink is just slightly more darker, and I just haven't got the guts to wear this at all lol. I've tested them out while at home and they are very moisturising on the lips kind of like a lip balm feeling. They don't last as long on my lips as my lipsticks do, id say they lasted about 2 hours on my lips which isn't bad I guess.

Overall I'm pleased I love one of the lipsticks and its a shame the others are quite similar colours but on there website they do loads of pretty colours, if they were more of a nude colour id be in love with them.

They also do free shipping to a lot of countries and they have a code on at the moment
which is XLH10

Real Techniques Niks Piks Brushes (Limited Edition)

I love Real Techniques Brushes, most of my brushes are from this brand, I think they are better than some of my Mac Brushes as most of them shred onto my face, its very annoying. All of there brushes are  affordable and every time theres new brushes released I get excited. This set contains 5 brushes and 3 of them being new set exclusives, I love the silver handles it makes them look a bit more luxurious then the other brushes.

First is the Duo - Fibre Powder Brush, its the biggest brush out of the others, this is ideal for a light weight application and easy to apply over my t-zone without caking powder onto my face, Ive been particularly enjoying it for lightly bronzing my face if I don't want go to too over the top with my bronzer lol, It gives my skin such a flawless look.

Next is the Cheek Brush (exclusive) this looks quite similar to the expert face brush, but the shape is more rounder and the hairs are more dense, I had a play around to see what I could use this for, I love that I can use it for 4 things, Foundation, Bronzer, Blusher and highlighter.

Now on to the Angled shadow Brush which is also Exclusive, (this brush is next to the cheek brush in the picture) this is designed to fit in the crease of the eye, I'm not much of an eye shadow person, so with these 3 eye brushes I was hoping to wear a lot more eye shadow and it has succeeded.

Next is the Base Shadow Brush, this is great for applying eyeshadow bases but Ive actually been using this for my concealer as its nice and small and fits right under the eyes, its lovely and soft too.

The last one is the EyeLiner Brush (Exlusive) Now I must admit I thought this was used for the eyebrows which is what I've been using my powdered products for but its used for eyeliner haha I'm still going to use this for my brows as its perfect for filling them in and creating more of an arch which is what I definitely need.

Ive been using these pretty much since I brought them a couple of months ago and I can't recommend them enough. They Retail at £29.99.

Do you love Real Techniques Brushes?

GlossyBox // January Edition 2015

Yaay its that time of the month again when I receive my Glossybox, I get so excited when the Postman rings my door bell its like Christmas because I have no idea what products are inside. I'm quite happy with this months box, theres only one brand in there that I've heard of, the others are unknown, Ive only been with GlossyBox for 3months and they haven't disappointed me that much yet, fingers crossed it never gets to that stage. Shall we go ahead and see whats inside this months box?...
First off is this Nicka K New York Colourluxe Loose Powder Blush, I'm loving the rose gold packaging by the way, Its a lovely coral pinky colour so will be great for the summer, When i opened the lip its a sponge applicator so you apply it straight onto your cheeks, but I might play around with it and use a brush just to see which is easier, I've never had a blush that looks like this before so I'm excited to use it. Swatch is below so you can check out the colour :)
This is my first Me Me Me Product woo, this is the Eyeline Pencil in the shade clay, which is this brown shade, I prefer to use black as my eyeliner, but you never know brown could be my new shade (ha I doubt it) I think I'm going to use this as a brow pencil as it looks like the right shade for my eyebrows I had a very similar pencil to this but I lost it. Ive swatched it and its very pigmented. Swatch is below :)
I love a lip balm for this time of year, mien are always so dry and cracked, this is the Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm Superfruit, Its 100% natural (amazing) packed full of oils from some of the worlds most anti-oxidant rich fruits and berries and leaves lips nourished and subtly sheeny. It has BlueBerry, Acai, Gofi, Baobab and Pomegranate, I put this straight on my lips as soon as I saw it and OMG its smells amazing I could eat it, and it felt so balmy, moisturising and smooth on my lips, I'm actually so impressed, I think this is going to be my new favourite lip balm.
This really excited me when I saw this, its the kueshi Natural & Pleasant Cosmetics Revitalising Face Toner, this toner contains soothing blend of Calendula, Chamomile and Aloe Vera to calm and rehydrate the skin, another product that smells amazing too but its not a strong smell, loving the pink  packaging and can't wait to test it out, who doesn't love skincare products to test out, I sure do.
Last is this Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow, this brightening gel is great for problem skin and its oil free and is packed with micronised pearlescent pigments that catch the light, highlighting the face for a radiant glow that doesn't look glittery. I don't really need any more highlighters, I'm more of a powder person than a gel so for me this is a pointless product, but I'm up for testing it out. Swatch is below :)
So that's what I received in this months GlossyBox, I'm very happy with the products and can't wait to start using them! Let me know if your subscribed to any other boxes down below? and what you think of this months box?

Selfridges Sale Haul

As soon as Christmas is over, everyone goes mad for the shops, you gotta love a good bargain, I'm always shopping online but I can never find anything good especially clothes they are always so rubbish. Ive actually never shopped online on Selfridges before, I saw someone on twitter saying they've ordered a bunch of makeup in the sale, and wow the makeup they had on sale was amazing and they knocked some down to a pretty good price :D I didn't go over board too much but I wish I did as there was loads of makeup I could of picked up, but I controlled myself haha. I'm actually in need of a new setting spray so I went for the Urban Decay De Slick Oil-Control, I've heard this is pretty good so I'm hoping it lives up to the hype, this is also my first urban decay purchase. Next I saw the Nars Creamy Concealer and it was on sale for around £20 roughly, then I new I had to get it as I've been wanting to try a Nars product since forever, I can't wait to try it as everyone seems to have it so I can't miss out. The last product is the Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation, I had this a couple of years ago and I got the shade NC20 it was completely the wrong shade so I sold it, even though I'm yellow toned this was extremely yellow it was horrible haha, so then I thought I must be in the shade NW15 and I've tested it out and its the perfect match yaaaaay, the coverage is amazing also.

Reviews will definitely be coming your way. Have you bought anything in the sale?

What I got for Christmas 2014

Well Christmas and new year is officially over how quick did it go? I love these types of posts, oh and I love to be nosey and see what every one got. I new what I was getting this Christmas so I didn't get much surprises but I was fine with that. Sorry about the lighting in these photos I know they all look different the sun kept on going in and out. GRRRR.

Lets start off with what the boyfriend got me, we went shopping ages ago, and I picked out a few things that he could get me. I love Chanel perfume and I've been dieing to get the Chanel Mademoiselle perfume it smells heavenly, next was the River Island purse, they always do the cutest purses so I'm always purchasing one quite often and the the last 2 things are the Missguided camel coat which I love and this dress I got from river island but its currently in the wash atm so I can't show you :( Next were a few present from my brother and his wife, they asked me what I wanted and I said a couple of lush bath bombs and a gift voucher from River Island, oh and the other River island voucher is from my boyfriends mum, can you tell I like River Island yet lol? I also got some money from my aunties and uncles, I can't wait to spend it on clothes and makeup ;) The last presents I got were from my mum and dad and its this gorgeous coat from MissSelfridge, it is soooo pretty, I love the fur its so cosy and warm, I've been looking for a coat for ages and never found the right one. I thought I was only going to receive this present as it was quite pricey but mum gave me a few more extra things which was lovely, such as the pyjamas, chocolates which I've kinda ate already Ive saved the best chocolates till last, Terry's Chocolate Orange mmmm, and I kinda finished the other chocolates off. Oh and can't forget the most softest dressing gown in the world from Primark, if anyone has a dressing gown from there you will know what I mean :)

So that's what I got from Christmas, Im so thankful for each present and I love every single one, I wasn't showing off in the slightest I think its a fun post to do, I hope everyone had a lovely christmas and new year and roll on 2015.
