NudeStix Lip & Cheek pencils // Christmas Minis

I feel terrible that I haven't blogged hardly this month, work has taken over my life and when I have free time all I want to do is relax. Seeing as its Christmas and I have a couple of days off I thought id take the time and write a post. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. If you've read my blog before you'll know I love the Nudestix pencils as I've written a few posts about there products before such as there new Bronze, Contour and Highlight kit and my new favourite which is there Brow and Wax Pencil. They have recently bought out some NEW Christmas minis which are super cute and I was so excited to try.

Their holiday Christmas collection features 3 lip and cheek pencils which come in mini sizes, their signature tin is also mini too, I LOVE what they have done with the tin it really stands out with the colours and its something different to the normal black tin that they do, its really eye catching. Theres Mystic which is a browny nude, Sin which is a pinky nude and Satan which is a bright red. Satan is the perfect shade for Christmas and Nye. These colours are so up my street part from the red as Im sometimes not brave enough to wear, but I love nudes and pinky shades so I new they would be perfect for me. Its a great size to fit in your handbag as they take up hardly any room.

What I love most about these lip pencils is that they are very moisturising but they dry into a matte formula, so they wont budge and will last for quite a while. They don't cling to any dry patches on your lips either but I do like to apply lip balm before to give a little shine.

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

Two things I love about this Eye Cream - Its thickness and has Avocado in. Ive been wanting this eye cream for as long as possible but seeing as it costs around the £20 mark I've always been debating whether to pick it up, I mean its just an eye cream, but from reading to many reviews I bought it while shopping in Bluewater.

This Kiehl's Creamy eye treatment is the most thickest eye treatment I have ever used. My under eyes tend to get quite dry and my concealer is always creasing so I'm always on the look out for a good eye cream. I haven't found an amazing one until I picked this up I can really see the fuss about this product. Ive been using it both morning and night since I picked it up a couple of weeks ago. A little goes a very long way you need the most tiniest amount, and it really gives the area a good boost of hydration. When I new this had Avocado in that sold it for me it makes my eye area feeling so smooth and refreshing so I new my concealer wouldn't cake or crease as everyone knows that's the worst. Don't be afraid of the colour as it looks green but once you apply it dissolves straight into the skin and has a cooling effect which I love and it makes my under eyes really brighten up its amazing.

This Eye Cream is going to last a life time and its so worth the money. I'm definitely going to invest in more products from Kiehl's.

Have you tried anything from Kiehl's? What would you recommend?

Freedom Makeup // House Of GlamDolls palette

If you didn't know Freedom Makeup is the same line as Makeup Revolution. When this NEW  House Of GlamDolls in Vintage Doll Look palette landed on my doorstep I couldn't wait to start playing around with these pretty colours. I find myself not very good with eyeshadow, I'm not good with blending or seeing which colours look best on your eyelid, basically Im rubbish and tend to stick with just one colour all over the lid.

Theres a list on the packaging telling you what there is to offer such as 4x Brow Powder, 3x Powder Highlighter, 10x Powder Eyeshadow, 2x Powder Blusher and 4x Lipstick. All you would need is base products and mascara and you've finished your look. The palette is a decent size considering what it holds, its not too heavy and it has a nice strong feel to it. Whats even better is there's a decent size mirror which is great to take around with you. I love the House of GlamDolls Logo on the front it makes it very eye catching to me.

Starting on the left are the two blushers in Retro and Glamour, these colours are so pretty and very pigmented, the first shade is a coral/peachy colour and the other is more of a pink/mauve . Along the very bottom we have Four Lipsticks starting from the left is Ruby, Power, Dark Cherry and Flapper, there's a mixture of Bright Red to Cherry/Berry shades, perfect for winter. On the right hand side are Four brow Powder shades, Taupe, Brunette, Bark and Ebony, with Four choices your definitely going to get the right shade. All that's left in the middle are the Eye shadow's and Powder Highlighters with a mixture of neutrals, silver, pinks and Mauves. I like that theres a mixture in the palette so you can create so great looks.

There are three other House of Glamdoll palettes, Spirit Doll, Exotica Doll and Fairy Doll so be sure to check them out and see which one is best for you. For £8 its definitely worth adding to your collection.

BornPretty Makeup

Im finally back to blogging, work has taken over my life and I haven't had a chance to get any post up, I've missed it a lot. Born Pretty Makeup got in touch with me and I was allowed to pick up to 3-4 items up to $16. Ive worked with them before and they were so lovely.

As the company is quite far away it took about 2 weeks to reach me which I expected.  There was so much makeup to choose from I found it hard to keep under $16. I went for things that I may need or would love to try as trying new makeup from different places excites me. First thing that caught my eye was this Black Head Pore Strip, I've just ran out of some pore strips so I wanted to pick these up, Im sure this will help my T-zone quite well. Next thing is this Beauty Blender which looks exactly like the Real Techniques Complexion sponge, Its about time I chucked it out as I've had it for ages, although this new Beauty Blender doesn't feel spongy it feels like a stress ball which sounds hard to believe. The last item I picked up was this gorgeous Yasmin Active Essence Lip balm in the shade 2, the packaging is so pretty and girly, when I first looked at the colour I thought it's going to look too bright but its actually quite sheer and only a tad pigmented so it gives my lips bit of colour, its very moisturising.

I can't wait to start using them properly. Ive linked all three items below.

Bioderma Sensibio H20

Bioderma is such a hyped product, Ive seen it everywhere and I've always been thinking whats so special about it? I wonder what the hype is? Isn't it just like any other cleansing water out there?! Ive been wanting to try it out for ages as its a ''popular'' french brand, although there skincare is always amazing. Its finally out in the UK in Boots and Pharmacies but I think its only in a few stores so its still quite hard to find, but you can easily pick one up online as thats what I did.

This French water like gentle solution is a cleanser and makeup remover in one, its been a 'holy grail' product for most. This product is especially great for those of you who suffer with sensitive skin because its patented natural complex and a soothing cucumber extract to ensure skin's natural pH is maintained. It is also fragrance free and hypoallergenic which means you are unlikely to be allergic to it. There are also a few other clear liquids which are for specific skin types which is amazing as most brands make them come in all one skin type.

Do I really think this is worth the hype? Yes and no! it does a great job with removing makeup and it leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed even if I still need to cleanse, But with it costing around £10 I think you could easily pick up a £3.99 Micellar water and it will do the exact same job.

Overall I do like this product but I'm still going to use my Garner Micellar water. Have you used this product before? What do you think?

BLANX TEETH WHITINING // GIVEAWAY

Im quite skeptical when it comes to teeth whitening, I've tried loads of different types from boots and none of them actually have worked, I then thought the only way I'm going to receive amazing white teeth or even just a bit of colour is to splash out on £100's. When Blanx emailed me I obviously couldn't say no to a Teeth Whitening Company cause you never know it could be amazing, they also sent me double of each product so I could hold a giveaway for you lovely lot.

Ive been using Blanx Teeth Whitening every day/night since I received the parcel which was roughly 3/4 weeks ago but I didn't use the toothpaste straight away, Ive roughly been using them for 2 weeks and I have seen some difference although it doesn't happen straight away as there are no harsh abrasives or peroxide which harm tooth enamel. One thing I must quickly point out is that Blanx didn't give me any Ulcers ''WOOP'' If I don't use the right toothpaste I suffer a lot and its safe to say Ive been so happy that I can use a teeth whitening product and not suffer.

Ive been experimenting with all 4 to try and work out which toothpaste would work best for me. I used blanx classic whitening toothpaste in the day and the Blanx Intensive stain removal in the evening which I thought work better seeing as Ive been eating and drinking all day, especially when drinking tea. Im definitely impressed from when i started using them on day  and I can't wait to carry on using them to see even further results. I also didn't find the taste that bad, its just a minty taste. What I received and what YOU could win is a Blanx Extra White Intensive Whitening Treatment which includes a colour chart, Blanx Advanced Whitening Toothpaste, Blanx Intensive Stain Removal Toothpaste and Blanx Classic Whitening Toothpaste. Blanx Youtube channel is : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjdPZiqVZAY

BOOHOO: HALLOWEEN NIGHT IN

As most of you know Boohoo is a online fashion website, I have shopped with them for years, their tops, jumpers and dresses are so affordable. I was extremely lucky to receive an email asking me if Id like to take part in there Halloween compaign, I quickly said 'yes' and I had joys of excitement. I couldn't believe what I saw inside the package, along with the lounge wear set. Inside was cute little halloween treats and a few pamper products, this made me even more excited.

Every year I have been out for halloween dressing up in something spooky but this time I was having a girly night in. Boohoo asked me if I was #HallowIN or #HallowOUT, this year I just fancied staying in watching some scary films while having a girly pamper of course, nothing excites me more than being comfy in PJS surrounded by yummy goodies. I was browsing their Nightwear section and I went for this cute ''Tia Messy Hair Don't Care T-shirt and jogger set, (I love that cute saying) which I thought would be super comfy to lounge around in at home.

Boohoo kindly sent some extra spookily surprises in the package. How gorgeous are these Elegant Touch Nails? I'm so in love and I can't wait to wear them. One thing I'm extremely excited to try is ''Mr Bean Coffee Bean Scrub with skin loving Organic Coconut oil vitamin E - Sea Salt'' doesn't that sound amazing? I've seen this brand before and so many bloggers have raved about it, my skin is going to feel amazing after I use this. To spice things up in the evening I got given some Hair Chalk spray in Green which I thought might make the evening a bit more fun, you can pick them up from Superdrug to make your costume look even better. A few more goodies were also added with some yummy BlueBird Spiced Pumpkin Pie Tea and a Gosh Lipstick in Classic Red. Not to mention a Halloween hard sweet and a glow stick pop.

Boohoo definitely spoilt me rotten and its made my evening extra fun. If your staying in for Halloween this year check out there Night Wear range HERE.

A Skin Care Saver // Sudo Cream Skin Care Cream

Sudo Cream hasn't been part of my skincare routine for that long. I have a friend who swears by it for breakouts, dry patches etc. I always thought this product was for babies not for adults to put on their face. I was luckily enough to get given a small tube of this skin care cream to test out. On the packaging it doesn't say anything about using it on ''babies'' so that makes me feel a bit better about putting it onto my face, it just says use on irritated /sore skin and form a barrier which protects against irritants, allowing the skin to maintain its natural, healthy and supple condition.

Ive been using this cream most days, I tend to get quite dry around the corners of my mouth and around the nose area, I also like to apply this on those dry areas an hour before I apply my makeup, I found this made my foundation not cling to any dry patches. One thing I have to point out is how amazing this is for spots, I don't normally break out but when its that ''time of the month'' that's when i tend to get 1 or 2, I simply cover the spot just before I go to sleep and ill wake up and its reduced the redness and healed much quicker than I thought, mine tend to only be a small breakout. Celebrity's apply this all over the face before bed as an over night mask to give a healthy glow. I tried it once and I must say it made my skin look so much more healthier, lets says I didn't need to apply much highlighter.

You can use this product in any way you like,  I can definitely say this as helped my skin out so much. It only retails at £1.99 and you can pick it up for Boots or any pharmacies.

Amazon Beauty Bargains

I haven't shopped on Amazon in ages, I used to browse their website all the time, if you need anything such as beauty, tools, furniture, its a one shop for everything. I was in need of a new electric tooth brush head and instead of going to Boots or Salisbury's I thought Amazon would do some much more cheaper ones (which the did) and while I was at it I thought id have a look and see if I can grab some bargains and oh yes I did. When you click on something you want you can actually have a look to see which website does the product cheaper and which one has free shipping etc, so you can add it all up and compare and pick the one which is the cheapest. AMAZING.

Ive been wanting to try the La Girl Pro Concealer for some time, if you watch Shaaanxo videos you'll know she uses this concealer all the time. I decided to get the shade Natural for under my eyes, it gives great coverage although its quite thick, I then decided to pick Beautiful Bronze to cream contour with. These both were only £3.69 each and the original price is £5.00. I wanted a brush that I could use to cream contour with and I thought the Real Techniques Stippling Brush would be perfect, I managed to pick it up for £6.25 and the original price is around £10. Last but not least is the Nanshy Powered Brush, I don't have a large powder brush in my collection so I thought id best pick one up, although I don't think this brush is that large I could do with a much bigger one. I managed to pick it up for £8.25 and the original price is roughly £10.95.

So there's my little bargain haul. I hope you enjoyed. Have you used any of these items before?

Hair Care Saviours // Nanokeratin Hair Treatments

've never heard of the brand called Nanokeratin before until now, they are a haircare brand that sell Shampoo's, Conditioners and masks. I was very happy when they contacted me to try a few samples. I love trying out new brands as I've been looking for something to bring my hair back to life as I dye my hair pretty much every month, I tend to get bored using the same products and its nice for your hair to use different brands now and then.

The lady who contacted me via email asked me what kind of hair type I have to ensure I was given the right products for my hair. I have dry coloured hair so I received a leave in Conditioner and a Colour Preserving Mask. Both of these treatments are meant to give moisture back into my hair, protect my hair, restore optimum moisture levels, cleanse my hair and the most important one is that it doesn't strip any of the colour out.

I really enjoy using leave in conditioners, my hair needs it ever so often. Ive only used Aussie and I love it. With this product you simply apply to towel dried hair and work the product into the ends, blow dry and style as usual. My hair felt amazing and silky. I tend to not use Masks for my hair which I really should, I enjoyed using it and I noticed such a difference, I prefer it to the leave in conditioner. You apply it from you roots to tips and its designed to nourish and revive hair from within. I would leave it on for 15-20mintues, Instantly my hair felt so soft and lightweight as some can make my hair feel quite heavy, it really helped my knotty hair so I didn't have to struggle with my tangle teaser.

Overall I've loved using these samples and I've noticed such a big difference, Im definitely going to buy the bigger bottles. You can buy these two products on the Toni & Guy website HERE. They are so worth the money.

Whats your favourite Masks & leave in Conditioners?

NEW Eyebrow stylus pencil and gel from Nudestix

We all know Brows are such an important look to the face, Im so happy I received this from Nudestix as Ive been needing a new brow product as I've nearly ran out of my Soap & Glory pencil. Im always on the look out and I'm still trying to find that one product that makes my brows look amazing and to keep in place all day, I much prefer to use pencil/crayon as I feel like I have control and there so easy to use. I was so excited to try there newest launch, the Eyebrow Pencil Stylus & Gel and Brow Wax.
This Eyebrow stylus is a waterproof 2-in-1 brow pencil and brow gel, it has a tri-angled tip for precise application one side then the other side is a gel to keep them brows in place. You also receive a brow wax pencil which is a clear soft wax that styles even the most stubborn and course hairs, this brow wax creates the perfect shape in seconds.

The Eyebrow Stylus and Gel comes in four shades - Blonde, Dirty Blonde, Brown & Brown/Black. I have brown which is the perfect match for me. The great thing about this pencil is that it doesn't need to be sharpened, you simply just twist the end to get more product out, it makes the application so quick and easy. The brow gel on the other end is very small and narrow, perfect for travelling, but with it being small I find it very easy to use and my application is neat, I have found it gives them a great hold throughout the day.

The Nudestix Brow Wax is a soft clear waterproof wax pencil that can be sharpened (with the handy sharper you receive with it). You lightly run it over your brows after filling them in to keep its shape and colour. It keeps your eyebrows looking great all day.
I think both products are lovely, if you love using brow pencils but want that extra bit of a hold then I recommened you giving this a try. Its definitely a quick and easy on the go product that gives you such natural looking brows. They both retail at $24, available at sephora & Beautylish.

Have you tried anything from Nudestix before?

Maple Holistics Argan Shampoo & Silk 18 Conditioner

I love using all different kinds of shampoo and Conditioners, I still haven't found the right ones that have made my hair feeling amazing. I was given these two Shampoo and Conditioners to test out by Maple Holistics which are based in America which is exciting as I've never heard of this brand until now. I can be quite sceptical as I tend to stick to haircare such as Loreal and Tresemme. My hair is such a nightmare to maintain, its long and thick and always getting tangled. My scalp can become dry and with my hair being so thick and long it needs a pretty good conditioner to sort itself out.

The Argan Shampoo also known as Morrocan Oil goes such a long way and lathers up really well, it made my hair look so healthy, clean and shiny and I haven't found a shampoo that's been good enough for that. It also managed to maintain my frizziness which I'm very happy about so if you have frizzy hair like me this may help you. This Shampoo has Argan, Jojoba, Peach Kernel, Almond, Camellia Seed and Avocado, any of these ingredients in a shampoo you know is going to be amazing for your hair. The Conditioner for me is even better than the shampoo, I've tried so many and most of them have been pretty rubbish apart from Loreal which I love, Its very thick and moisturising as my hair can be dry at times so its quite a heavy conditioner but not heavy enough to be a mask. I can't forget the Vanilla scent which smells amazing.

Overall I'm really enjoying using them and ill definitely purchase more in the future. You can reach there products HERE if you fancy a quick nose about.

Kiss Cosmetics // Colour Switch NEW Lipstick

Kiss cosmetics is a very new brand to me, I've seen them a few times around twitter and on a few blogs. Ive been keen to try some of their lipsticks as I'm a big lipstick fan. Kiss cosmetics launched in 2014 and they are so affordable which is great. They sell all different kinds of lipsticks for only £7.00. One thing I have to mention is that the brand is 100% cruelty free and all the ingredients are listed on the product, so if you suffer from any allergies youll be able to check on the packaging. I was lucky enough to receive there brand new 'Colour switch Lipstick' that has just been launched.

This white lipstick is amazing Ive seen nothing like it before, it changes the way your original lipstick will look. You simply apply the lipstick onto your lips like any other lipstick it may be easier to apply with a brush as it can get messy, you then apply your favourite lipstick or a colour your not really brave enough to wear and apply it on top. I was given one of their lipsticks which is a gorgeous bright red/pink tone, the texture and pigmentation is amazing, I wasn't expecting it to be so creamy I'm very impressed, It made the colour tone down to a gorgeous barbie pink shade. If you have a dark colour in your collection but you find it too overpowering and you just haven't got the guts to wear it, this colour switch will simply tone down the shade and will make it a much more lighter shade for you to be able to wear.

I can see my self using this quite bit as I have a few shades in my collection which i find too bright so this will be prefect for me. Its brilliant that you can turn any lipstick into more shades. Colour Switch retails at £9.00 and is available on their website HERE.

New Beauty Buys // Feel Unique & CT

As it was pay day I definitely wanted to have a little spend and start branching out on high end makeup and skincare. Ive have been dying to get my hands on some Charlotte Tilbury makeup too but as its expensive I kept putting it off but as I got a good wage this month I thought now was the time.

I had no idea what to pick on the charlotte Tilbury's website, I thought do I really need anymore bronzers? I've literally bought five within the past month although I will pick up the filmstar bronzer soon. Then I had no idea what lipstick to get as the swatches were pretty bad on the website, I was looking up swatches on google and just had no idea so I went with something completely different to what I normally would go for which was the ''Super Model Body''. Im so exited to use this, it will be great for when I'm on holiday or for nights out too, it will give that perfect bronzed shimmer glow on the skin.

I then saw Feel Unique had a massive sale with pretty much all the products they have on there, so I scrolled down the sale section and had a look so see if there was anything I would like, there was so much more I could of bought but I managed to control myself haha. First thing is the ''Liz Earle Instant Boost skin Tonic'' I used this last night and its amazing, Its smells like heaven in a bottle with lovely Lavender, Cucumber and Rose scented fragrance, it was so refreshing on the skin. Im not really the type of person to go and buy every item a Youtuber has bought out but seeing as I love baths I thought id try ''Zoella's Bath Fizzer'' and as I hadn't gone to lush I thought id give it ago, its smells pretty nice, it reminds me of some sort of air freshener but in a good way. The last two items are products I've wanted for a long time, I love pore minimisers, Im not sure if they work but I like to think it does, I've heard good things about ''Diors Pore Minimiser'' so I wanted to give it a try. Last but not least is the ''Elemis Flash Balm'' Ive never tried anything from Elemis so Im super excited to give it a try.

I also forgot to add Fleur De Force Lashes which I bought from Feel Unique also, I give her credit, she's done pretty well on making the packaging look so cute and pretty, Its on my Instagram if you want to take a look. I love Fake lashes and as she joined up with Eylure I just had to get them, they also are the best make ever.

Sorry for my Rambling, I got bit carried away and I hope I haven't bored you.

Benefit // Rockateur Blush

I'm not really a blush kinda girl but lately Ive been quite obsessed and wanting to go blush crazy and buy every single pretty one. Ive been eyeing this Benefit blusher for so long but I then thought do I really want to spend £23.50 on a blush? The answer was no but I did anyway and I don't regret it. Theres just something about this blusher that I love and that's weird for me to say as I wasn't a fan of them.

I really like the snake print and lace packaging its something different from their usual style, I think its one of there coolest designs, I love what they have done inside with the word 'Rock.' The blush is made up of two rose gold shimmer sections with a more matte segment in the middle, I just swirl my Zoeva cheek brush and apply although the pigmentation isn't great I end up using loads than I should to see a bit of colour on my cheeks, but its such a pretty colour. Benefit describe there blush as a ''rockin rose gold'' and I definitely agree. This is a dusky cool toned rose gold that gives you a sun kissed look, In my opinion this blush is best suited for light to medium skin tones. In the pan it does look quite shimmery but once its on the skin it looks very subtle and gives you the perfect glow. This blush is heavenly scent which I personally like but I know this puts some people off.

All in all I love this blusher and Ive been using it everyday, I'm not a fan of bright pink colours so I new this blusher would be perfect I mean who doesn't love a rose gold blush? The only down side is the price but if you love high-end make and you love to splash out now and then like me then you need this in your life. This is perfect for an everyday use. Its certainly worth the money.

Have you used this blush? What do you think?

The raved about Nars Lagnua

Im sure you all know by now I'm a massive bronzer fan, a day doesn't go by when I havent applied bronzer all over my face. I will pick up any bronzer I like the look, I literally go bronzer crazy and most bronzers suit my skin tone so I don't really need to worry about it looking too orange as I know it will be fine. Im sure I've mentioned this bronzer before, it may of been in my top 3 bronzers but I thought id do a review of it on its own and go bit more in detail.

Im sure most people own this bronzer and can agree its amazing and probably one of the best bronzers I own. All Nars makeup is pretty basic with the typical rubbery black packaging which can get absolutely filthy with all finger marks/makeup all over it, It also comes with a decent large mirror inside too. There bronzers actually come in 3 shades, Laguna, Casino and irrestisiblement which I have never heard of. Laguna is definitely the most owned, its such a gorgeous colour, I'm not good at describing but id say its a medium tan shade with a slight ash tone which makes its perfect for contouring and warming up light - medium skin tones. Its blends out so nicely and the texture is so soft so you can see how its a favourite to many people.

The pigmentation is spot on, I only need to swirl my brush a little bit into the product for a natural look and its covered the areas of where I wanted to bronze, but as I love to bronze and contour I go all out. It lasts pretty well on my skin, It still looks lovely on my skin when its been on my face for 10hours, it doesn't go patchy but I do use a primer and a setting spray so maybe that helps.

Overall this is a definite bronzer you need to have in your collection, it is rather pricy (£27.50) but its so with the money for what youve payed for, Ive used it non stop and I haven't even hit pan yet.

Have you used this bronzer?

Soap & glory Mother Pucker - The Missing Pink

Lipsticks are such a fun wearable makeup product, I can't stop collecting them, as I don't wear eyeshadow that much due to it making my eye lids super dry, I often go all out on the lipstick to brighten up my look. I go from nudes, pinks, berrys and peachy colours, Im not brave enough to wear a red yet.

I am loving Soap & Glorys makeup at the moment, if you haven't tried any of their makeup I definitely recommend you trying them out. One thing I am impressed with is their lipsticks, the packaging is pretty basic, its just a black plastic tube with some writing on it its nothing special or fancy but the actual lipstick is a lot nicer, I love what S&G have done with the lipstick itself, by printing their logo on to it, thats what makes it different to the other highstreet ones. From the swatch the picture dosent do the colour any justice, it looks rather dull which is the best way to describe it. I know everyone hates this 'saying' and I do too but it really is a ''my lips but better '' shade, it gives my lips a bit more of a pinky colour with a bit of shine, Its a colour wear you don't need a mirror and you can quickly apply if your in a rush. The colour is so wearable and goes with my everyday look. I haven't hardly seen anyone talk about this so it deserves some credit.

Its super creamy and smooth and doesn't dry out my lips which I Love, and it manages to stay on my lips for about 3-4 hours, some lipsticks can leave a stain and can look horrible and patchy but this one just fades away a tiny bit without anyone noticing so you can quickly top up.

Overall I hadn't done any research on this lipstick and I really like it. Have you tried this lipstick before?
